According to Express News, 20-year-old Abdullah was the counter of the prize bond which had about Rs 3 lakh on it. The counter owner Abdullah was also injured in the blast and is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Instead of participating in the rescue operation, they started looting. After the video surfaced on social media, users have demanded strict action against those involved.

It is believed that an explosion took place in Anarkali area of   Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, as a result of which 3 people were killed and 26 others were injured. Eyewitness statements are also coming to light. Maybe I was stabbed. People were calling for help. Smoke billowed from the blast, chaos ensued.Shortly before the blast, a man had parked his motorcycle. As soon as the man left, an explosion occurred.

One of the dead in the blast near Pan Mandi in Anar Kali has been identified as 31-year-old Ramzan and the other is a 9-year-old child. We had come from Karachi to visit Lahore. We had to go to Kashmir from Lahore today.We had gone to Anar Kali for shopping. Absar's parents were injured in the hospital.

Citing forensic sources, it was reported that the blast was caused by a time device, the explosives were planted in a motorbike near the shops, the sound of the blast was heard far away, after which a pit one and a half feet deep at the site of the blast.One and a half kilograms of explosives were used in the blast. The explosives were hidden in envelopes and kept near motorcycles.The blast took place near shops near a private bank at the entrance of Anarkali Bazaar. Rescue teams rushed to the spot, cordoned off the area and launched rescue operations, while Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar took notice of the Anar Kali blast and demanded a report from IG Punjab.
