Lahore (News advertisment Latest - NNI. 11 January 2022) Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, while announcing to set aside every Friday for meetings with Overseas Pakistanis, said that Overseas Pakistanis are the capital of the nation and they are alone in any case. Will not be left out. I think seats in the assemblies should also be allocated for overseas Pakistanis.

Speaking during the meeting, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that I myself have been an Overseas Pakistani in UK and I am aware of the problems of Overseas Pakistanis so the doors of Gore Nar House are open for Overseas Pakistanis. He said that we have set aside Friday for Overseas Pakistanis in Gore Nar House but any Overseas Pakistani can meet me on emergency matters. I have already stood with my Overseas Pakistani brothers and sisters and will continue to I will be with them in difficult times.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that Vice Chairman Overseas Commission Punjab Syed Makhdoom Tariq and concerned officers would also be present during the meetings with Overseas Pakistanis at Gore Nar House and we would ensure that the problems of Overseas Pakistanis would be resolved as soon as possible. He said that oppression and injustice would not be allowed with any overseas Pakistanis.
He said that the steps taken by the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan to solve the problems of overseas Pakistanis are unprecedented in the country. He said that for the first time in history the cases of Overseas Pakistanis were being decided in Punjab in months and not years and special judges were hearing the cases of Overseas Pakistanis in the courts.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that giving the right to vote to overseas Pakistanis was not enough and they should also get representation in the assemblies. He said that the number of seats for overseas Pakistanis should also be increased in Azad Kashmir. He said that Overseas Pakistanis are the pride of the nation and we stand by them. He said that overseas Pakistanis should also take full part in the politics of the country in which they live.
He said that in order to thwart India's ambitions, overseas Pakistanis must also move forward in the politics of European countries. The Governor said that he was glad that Pakistanis were becoming more successful in British politics than India and that the political influence of overseas Pakistanis in Britain was also increasing.
