August 14, 2022) Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that while celebrating the 75th Independence Day, we should be guided by the ideals of the architects of Pakistan and make the welfare of the people our first priority for national reconstruction. To be sure, the 75th Independence Day is a historic day for the entire Pakistani nation. Today, the entire nation pays tribute to the Muslims of the subcontinent for their unparalleled struggle and eternal sacrifices for the establishment of the Kingdom of God Pakistan.
In his message on the occasion of Independence Day, he said that the establishment of Pakistan was possible due to the dedication, sincere determination, tireless work and struggle of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. After the concept of Pakistan was presented in 1930, in a short period of only 17 years, Pakistan emerged as the largest Islamic state on the world map.
He said that the establishment of Pakistan was no less than a miracle which not only surprised friends and enemies but also maintained its unique position in the world against all speculations and predictions.
He said that while the 15th Independence Day is a cause of great joy and celebration, it is also an opportunity for self-accountability at the collective and individual level. As a nation, we have achieved many milestones in seven and a half decades, from a defiant response to external attacks on our integrity, to establishing a unified national constitution, becoming the world's seventh nuclear power, and collectively fighting terrorism. But until defeating him, we have been not only protecting this country with our continuous efforts, but we have been trying day and night for its development and prosperity. From the beginning, this country faced sufferings, but all the sufferings bowed before the spirit of our brave nation.
He said that it is also an undisputed fact that we have not yet been able to fully understand the dream of the kingdom of God based on social and economic equality, rule of law and equality that our forefathers dreamed of. He said. That we are breathing in a free country today, for which no matter how much we thank the Almighty Lord, but real freedom is the name of freedom from needs, hunger, poverty and backwardness. Until we become an economically independent state, this dream of complete independence will remain a reality.
He said that nothing can be more dangerous for any nation than internal disturbances, mutual division and anarchy, because such negative elements not only harm national unity and national integrity but also deprive the society of its purpose. The Quaid-i-Azam was well aware of these factors, that is why he taught us the lesson of faith, unity and discipline for their sake.
He said that the greatest strength of our country is our people, especially the talented youth. Their dedication, courage and enthusiasm full of constructive energy has the ability to overcome any kind of difficulty and light the candle of hope. will continue to protect the national identity, I have full confidence in the abilities of our nation and its zealous youth that they will surely lift the ship of our country from this temporary fog very soon.
The Prime Minister said that while celebrating the 75th Independence Day, we should be guided by the ideals of the architects of Pakistan and make the welfare of the people our first priority for national reconstruction. Let us pledge together that we will make Pakistan a welfare state as per the ideals of our forefathers.
