Egyptian squash specialists have presented a solicitation to the World Squash Organization (WSF) for the confirmation of World Junior Squash champion Hamza Khan's age.
The WSF gave an assertion on Thursday saying that the Egyptian Squash Organization (ESF) has raised worries north of 17-year-old Hamza's age who crushed their member Mohamed Zakaria to come out on top for the World Junior Title.
"Preceding all WSF-authorized junior occasions, players should present their visa and Squash Individual Recognizable proof Number (Twist) to demonstrate personality, ethnicity and age,
"As the perceived Global Organization of the game, the WSF has an obligation to explore the solicitation from the Egyptian Squash League completely. There will be no further remark until the examination is finished," the assertion read.
In the mean time, an authority of the Pakistan Squash League (PSF) has said that the body is an expert association and it leads generally expected tests prior to sending a player to any mature gathering occasion.
"Like some other occasion, Hamza Khan's age was restoratively tried before he was designated for World Junior Squash Title," said Zafaryab Iqbal, secretary of the PSF.
"We have all narrative proof of his age which demonstrates him qualified to play on the planet junior title," he added.
Zafaryab further said that WSF has not officially reached PSF regarding this situation and at whatever point a conventional contact will be made, they will answer to it as needs be.
