Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior pioneer Ali Muhammad Khan, who was captured following May 9 uproars, was set on Thursday free from Mardan prison on Peshawar High Court (PHC) request.


Khan was first captured by the Islamabad capital region police on May 11 under Segment 3 of the Support of Public Request (MPO) regarding the rough fights set off by the capture of PTI boss Imran Khan on May 9 in a defilement case.


During the days-long fights, which finished solely after the PTI boss' delivery, angered party laborers purportedly went after private and public properties, including army bases — the Lahore Corps Leader's Home or Jinnah House and the General Central command (GHQ) entrance in Rawalpindi. Something like eight individuals lost their lives during the brutal fights.
