LOS ANGELES: When he faces World Boxing Chamber heavyweight champion Tyson Rage in the boxing ring, blended combative techniques star Francis Ngannou will have heavyweight legend Mike Tyson in his corner on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.
The organization among Ngannou and Tyson was affirmed in an explanation delivered on Thursday by Riyadh Season — the yearly diversion and sports celebration that will start off this year with the Ngannou-Wrath session.
In the articulation, Tyson said: "its a well known fact I ease Ngannou 100% in this go head to head of champions."
"He has one hard punch, and when it handles, it's down finished. I'm anticipating working with Ngannou and supporting his change from the Octagon to the boxing ring."
Ngannou has no expert record in boxing, yet the 36-year-old Cameroonian-French contender fabricated a standing as an imposing puncher en route to becoming UFC heavyweight champion, a title he held until leaving in January after a sharp relationship with the association's leader Dana White.
He has won 17 of his 20 expert UFC battles with 12 knockouts.
Ngannou said in the articulation that acquiring Tyson "is quite possibly of the best choice I can make.
"His experience and boxing level of intelligence will be essential to sharpening my strategy under his direction to win this super-battle."
Wrath's WBC title won't be on the line in the "show" session, which will happen under the standards of expert boxing.
The English fighter's last battle was in December, when he halted countryman Derek Chisora inside 10 rounds, yet talks over an undisputed world title confrontation against Oleksandr Usyk separated recently.
