I never met armed force bosses for individual reasons," PM Shehbaz says.
PM says he has met a few armed force bosses in 38 years of legislative issues.

State leader Shehbaz Sharif Thursday mourned being promoted as the "foundation's man", saying that he just met the military's top chiefs for the nation's advancement, not private increases.


"I was known as the foundation's man, however I couldn't have cared less about those insults [...] I never met armed force bosses for individual reasons; the main rationale behind those gatherings was to guarantee that the foundation and legislatures take the nation forward together."


The top state leader offered the comments in the wake of introducing the recently built Bhara Kahu sidestep project in Islamabad.


PM Shehbaz said during his 38 years in legislative issues, he has met a few armed force bosses to guarantee that "Islamabad's administration and Rawalpindi's foundation stay in total agreement".


"I have met numerous conspicuous armed force bosses in my time in legislative issues [...] yet the main thought behind it has been to take Pakistan to such a level for which scores of Muslims forfeited their lives."


PM Shehbaz referenced that there were reports that he was "extremely close" to previous president General (retd) Parvez Musharraf.


"...but what did I get? Nawaz Sharif was tossed into prison as was I. He went to Attock, I did as well. He went to Landhi prison, I did as well. Nawaz Sharif was banished, so was I. Indeed, even my family was banished."


"However, what did I get? Nothing. There was just a single idea to me [...] to work for the oppressed," the state head referenced, bemoaning the state where individuals are residing.


He additionally valued Head of Armed force Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir for his devoted help for the Bhara Kahu Sidestep project.
