SBP guides banks to work till 5pm and 8pm on Saturday and Sunday, separately

In a move pointed toward working with masses, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Friday guided banks to stay open toward the end of the week for the assortment of "charges through substitute conveyance channels and over-the-counter offices".
"It has been concluded that parts of all banks that are open on Saturday will notice broadened working hours on Saturday and Sunday," the SBP said in its true proclamation.
The banks will stay open till 5pm on December 30 (Saturday), while on December 31 (Sunday) the functional hours will be till 8pm.

Likewise, the Public Institutional Help Advancements (NIFT) — to guarantee same-day clearing/settlement of installment instruments — has been "encouraged" by the SBP to organize unique clearings at 3pm and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, individually.
