Neelam (Urdu Point News advertisement Latest - NNI. 02 December 2023) A ceremony was held at Government Girls Degree College regarding the distribution of mobility and hearing aid to disabled people under the organization of Social Welfare Department and with the support of Hamza Development Foundation. Director Social Welfare Abdul Wahid Khan, SP Khawaja Muhammad Siddique and others distributed wheelchairs to 81 people, hearing aids to 71 people and clutches to 31 people.

Speaking on this occasion, Director Social Welfare Abdul Wahid Khan said that the Department of Social Welfare is working on various projects for the improvement of the society in addition to increasing the efficiency of social institutions in Neelam, sponsoring orphans, raising disabled and poor people. . Our aim is to create a civilized and self-sufficient society.


The cooperation of social institutions and people is also necessary to make our goal successful.

In order to bring positive change in the society, social institutions need to do better in Neelum. SP Khawaja Muhammad Siddiq while addressing the event said that the main task of social institutions is to bring positive change with the help of people for the betterment of society and to serve the suffering humanity. I am grateful to the Department of Social Welfare and Hamza Development Foundation for supporting the disabled people of Neelam.

The police department will continue to support according to its standards for the rehabilitation of special persons in Neelum. Service to humanity is worship and those who perform this duty are leaders in this world and the hereafter. He said that without the support of philanthropists and social institutions, the state cannot provide better services to the needy and backward classes. All sections of the society should play their role for the rehabilitation of needy and disabled people.

He said that the Social Welfare Department under the supervision of the District Social Welfare Officer is doing the best work for the rehabilitation of the disadvantaged and disabled people of the society. District Social Welfare Officer Muzaffarabad Mukhtar Ahmad Awan informed the participants of the event about the aims and objectives of the Social Welfare Department and said that the Social Welfare Department has to work for the welfare of the needy, disabled and poor people in the society.

He said that Hamza Development Foundation has done excellent work for the rehabilitation of special people. Neelum has more opportunities to improve the crushed segments. Charitable organizations will be encouraged to work in Neelam on a priority basis. President Hamza Development Foundation Sheikh Mushtaq said that we are working for the welfare of the backward sections of the society under the supervision of the Social Welfare Department.

In Neelum, 81 people are given wheelchairs, 71 people are given hearing aids and 31 people are given clutches. They will continue to work for the rehabilitation of special people under the supervision of the Social Welfare Department. District Social Welfare Officer Iftikhar Geelani, the host of the event, thanked Director Social Welfare Abdul Wahid Khan, SP Khawaja Muhammad Siddique, President Hamza Development Foundation Sheikh Mushtaq for their support and said that Principal Degree College Prof. Zubaydah. Basheer and staff provided excellent support in organizing the event, for which I thank them, the other organizers and the guests who attended the event.
