ISLAMABAD: After the Political decision Commission of Pakistan (ECP) declared the timetable for general surveys, the Pakistan Muslim Association Nawaz (PML-N) is supposed to settle the rundown of every one of its competitors one week from now for the impending surveys, The News covered Saturday.


Up to this point, no ideological group has reported its rundown of possibility for the surveys — scheduled to occur on February 8, 2024.

PML-N Boss Coordinator Maryam Nawaz will challenge from Lahore and Karachi, while PPP Director Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be an up-and-comer from Karachi and Larkana. Previous President and PPP Co-Administrator Asif Ali Zardari would take a shot from Nawabshah.


Maulana Fazlur Rehman would challenge from Dera Ismail Khan. Jamat e Islami Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq would challenge surveys from Peshawar.


Surveys plan reported

Following the High Court's organization, the appointive body on Friday night gave the much-anticipated plan for the general surveys, set to happen on February 8, 2024.


The surveying system starts four days from today ie, December 19, while the returning official (RO) will give a public notification, while the ECP likewise continues the preparation for the ROs and locale returning officials (DROs).


The political race program likewise applies to the held seats for ladies and non-Muslims in the public and four commonplace gatherings of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.


The commission gave the political race plan late around evening time in accordance with the High Court's requests.
