He expressed regret that due to the black laws enforced in the occupied territory, the Indian soldiers have an open immunity for serious violations of human rights, especially war crimes and crimes against humanity. Hurriyat leaders said that Jammu and Kashmir is the only one in the world. There is an area where more than 10 lakh occupying soldiers are stationed.
He said that lasting peace cannot be established in South Asia without resolving the Kashmir issue according to the relevant resolutions of the United Nations and the wishes of the Kashmiris. He said how many more Kashmiris should sacrifice their lives to wake up the United Nations He said that one day India will have to account for its cruel policies in Jammu and Kashmir. The leaders of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference said that the solution to the Kashmir conflict lies in the implementation of the relevant resolutions of the United Nations.
He said that the time has come for the United Nations to give up its silence on the ongoing Indian atrocities on Kashmiris and to play a role in liberating Kashmiris from the atrocities of the Modi government because India is being encouraged by the silence of the international organization. Party Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir branch leader Mushtaq Ahmed Butt and others have said in their statements in Islamabad that Kashmiris have been making unprecedented sacrifices for achieving their inalienable right to self-determination for the past 76 years. He appealed to the United Nations to take steps to resolve the Kashmir issue according to its resolutions.
