Israel's Supreme Court has struck down a controversial government law on the powers of the judiciary.
A foreign media report stated that 8 out of 15 judges of the Israeli Supreme Court ruled against the controversial law, in which the government's controversial law on the powers of the judiciary has been declared null and void.
According to foreign media reports, the Israeli ruling party says that the decision of the Supreme Court is against the will of the people.
The government of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu passed a law limiting some of the powers of the judiciary.
The Israeli parliament passed the controversial judicial reform amendment bill in July last year and there have been months of protests in Israel against the Israeli government's controversial law.
