Islamabad (Urdu Point Newspaper Latest. May 18, 2024) Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul of Islamabad High Court have set for hearing the appeals against the sentences of PTI founder Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case. Hasan Aurangzeb will be heard on May 21, the arguments of FIA Special Prosecutor Hamid Ali Shah are likely to be completed at the next hearing.

After the prosecutor's arguments are completed, the founder PTI's lawyers will give their arguments. Due to cancellation of the cause list of the Chief Justice's court on May 15, hearing against cipher appeals and NAB Tosha Khana call-op notices could not be held. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq including appeals against cipher appeals and NAB Tosha Khana call-ap notices. The causelist of all the cases was cancelled.


All the causelist of the cases of Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq was cancelled. Due to which all the cases in the single and division bench of the Chief Justice's court were cancelled. The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court conducted the chamber work. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri reserved the verdict on Imran Khan's bail application on Wednesday. The court ordered PTI founder Imran Khan to submit a bail bond of Rs. Two days ago, the District and Session Courts of Islamabad acquitted Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, in two cases of long march vandalism registered in Thana Khana during the Azadi March.

The judicial magistrate gave a reserved verdict on the plea of acquittal. According to the decision, the court accepted the plea of acquittal on the basis of insufficiency of evidence. The lawyers of PTI founder, Sardar Bhagya and Mirza Asim, argued on the plea of acquittal. In the context of PTI's long march, the police across the country had registered dozens of cases against PTI leaders and workers for serious violations including Section 144. Cases were registered.
