The water supply system has already been affected by power load shedding. In this case, the water cut has forced the Kejriwal government to approach the Supreme Court. The Delhi government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting that additional water be supplied from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
The Delhi government has said in the petition filed in the Supreme Court that Delhi is experiencing extreme heat. People are suffering from heat wave. In such a situation, the water crisis can lead to an epidemic, so it should be directed to provide additional water to Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana for a month. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. That they should put political differences aside and think only about the welfare of the people. It should be noted that in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh there is a coalition government of Bharatiya Janata Party while in Himachal Pradesh there is a Congress government.
