It has been told by the sources that the firewall will have a special feature deep packet inspection capability, social media data can be filtered through deep packet inspection, the firewall will be able to block data at the IP level instead of the application, deep packet. Inspection will allow data to be seen up to Layer 7, the firewall will be able to identify propaganda points on social media, and the firewall will also have the ability to block propaganda points and IDs.
It is also known from the sources that the use cases for the installation of the firewall were also exchanged, the firewall will be installed on the internet service providers, some of the cost of the installation of the firewall will be paid by the government of Pakistan, the rest of the cost of the firewall will be paid. Internet Service Providers will pay, PTA has convinced Internet Service Providers, Internet Service Providers are bound to block illegal content, installation of firewall is PTA's jurisdiction. .
It is being told that the firewall system is mainly installed on the Internet gateways from where the Internet is uplink and downlink, its purpose is to filter the Internet traffic, with the help of this firewall, unwanted websites, social Media platforms and specific content can be controlled, any such content can be blocked with the help of a firewall, this system also provides instant information on the origin of a content. Support may be available and action may be taken against the creator of the content once the IP address is revealed.
