Islamabad (Urdu Point Newspaper Latest. 14th June 2024) Judge Afzal Majuka of District and Sessions Courts Islamabad remarked during the hearing in the Iddat Nikah case that I will decide the case in 10 days if I am alive, write an order for today's hearing. There will be more than a notice in it, the court has issued notices to the parties, directing Khawar Manika and her lawyer to appear before the court on June 21, otherwise a decision will be taken after looking at the records.
In the District and Sessions Courts Islamabad, a hearing was held on the appeals against the sentence for early hearing and the applications for suspension of the sentence. Additional and Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka conducted the hearing, Bushra Bibi's lawyer Usman Riaz Gul Advocate appeared in the court. Usman Riaz Gul Advocate presented the written decision of the Islamabad High Court in the court.
He said that the direction has come to keep the hearing of the case for tomorrow.
Judge Afzal Majuka remarked that if tomorrow is not possible because there are many bail applications, I will decide even if the other party does not appear. Usman Riaz Gul advocate said that the hearing should be adjourned for tomorrow. Then the notices will become part of the record. After the arguments, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 21. It should be noted that yesterday the Islamabad High Court ordered the local court in the marriage case between founders PTI and Bushra Bibi. It was directed to decide within ten days on the applications for suspension of sentence.
It was also ordered to decide on central appeals against the sentence within a month. Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb of the Islamabad High Court heard on the request of PTI founder to send back the appeals against the sentence in the Iddat Nikah case to Sessions Judge Sharakh Arjamand. Who was Advocate Salman Akram Raja and others appeared in the court on behalf of founder PTI, while advocate Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared in court on behalf of Khawar Manika.
