According to Kashmir Media Service, under the leadership of Indian National Congress Jammu and Kashmir branch president Waqar Rasool Wani, a large number of Congress workers protested in Jammu against the scams in entrance tests for medical and lecturership etc.

They demanded strict action against those involved in scams and resignation of Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. A large number of students participated in the demonstration. The protesters raised slogans against the Modi government and burnt his effigy.

He demanded justice for around 24 lakh affected students. On this occasion, Waqar Rasool Wani said that the government is responsible for spoiling the future of students.

He said that despite the strong protests of the students, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is completely silent on this issue which is very sad. He demanded to make a law to prevent cheating in the exams in future and threatened that if the Modi government does not take action. If so, the protest will be intensified. It may be recalled that the irregularities and corruption in the NEET and UGC NET examinations in various states of India have caused widespread concern, leaving millions of students facing uncertainty.
