According to the statement released on Monday, he said this while addressing the first meeting of the Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition. In the meeting presided over by Chairman of Special Committee Muhammad Idris, Senior Vice President of KCCI Altaf A. Ghaffar, Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Bari, Co-Chairman Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition Ismail Surya, Former Presidents Iftikhar Ahmed Wahra, Commentator Atta Malik and Shamim Ahmed Farpo, members of the Managing Committee and KCCI Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition were also present in the meeting.
President KCCI while appreciating all the efforts made by the Chairman Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition and his team emphasized that My Karachi Exhibition is one of the most important events of Karachi Chamber and therefore all the Managing Committee Arkin and BMG Enz should enthusiastically participate in the ongoing activities to organize this grand event in a grand manner.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition, Muhammad Idris, while highlighting the journey of the exhibition, said that the late Siraj Qasim Teli, the leader of the business community, planted the My Karachi Exhibition in 2004, the main objective of which is the development of Karachi in particular and Pakistan in general. The aim was to highlight the soft image. During all these years, the popularity of this exhibition has increased significantly.
He further said that the My Karachi exhibition was supposed to be held in February this year but due to general elections it has been rescheduled to August. He said that the exhibition should be self-sustaining and the Karachi Chamber would not be burdened with its expenses. , apart from the inclusion of cultural shows and continental cuisine, the possibility of participation of people associated with alternative energy and IT sectors, especially artificial intelligence, is also being explored.
This year fruit and vegetable exhibitors will also participate and KCCI also plans to organize a Mango Festival.
