RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday declared playing XI for first Test against Bangladesh which would be captained by Shan Masood.


Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in the primary Test at Rawalpindi Cricket Arena beginning from August 21.


Joining Masood in the group are Saud Shakeel, Abdullah Shafique, and the productive Babar Azam, who will support the batting arrangement.


The group's quick bowling assault will be led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, with Mohammad Ali, Naseem Shah, and rising star Khurram Shahzad finishing the speed group of four.


Wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan has additionally been chosen, alongside all-rounder Salman Agha who will be the main spinner.


It should be noted it will be first game for Jason Gillespie as the lead trainer of the Pakistan cricket crew.


Prior, all-rounder Aamer Jamal was set free from the crew as he is yet recuperate from back injury.
