Since October 7, 3,714 Palestinian students have been martyred in the Israeli aggression.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Education, 3,714 students have been martyred in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, while 5,700 students have also been injured.
According to the Ministry of Education, the number of martyred students in Gaza is 3,679 and 35 students in the occupied West Bank have been victims of Israeli aggression.
The Ministry of Education says that since October 7, 209 teachers and school administration officials in Gaza have also lost their lives while 619 were injured in Israeli operations.
In addition, two teachers were injured in the occupied West Bank while 65 were arrested.
More than 70 percent of Gaza's martyrs are women and children
On the other hand, the United Nations Special Representative on Violence against Women and Girls, Reem Al Saleem, says that the number of martyred women and children in the Israeli bombardment in Gaza is the highest in recent conflicts.
According to Reem al-Salim, more than 70 percent of the martyred Palestinians in Gaza are women and children.
"Words have run out to describe the unspeakable level of suffering and horrors in Gaza," he said, adding that to be a Palestinian woman or child in this hell meant to be stripped of humanity, safety or any special protection.
