Islamabad (Urdu Point Latest News - APP. May 12, 2024) Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, General Secretary of the Washington-based World Kashmir Awareness Forum, has said that due to the many sacrifices of Kashmiris, the Kashmir issue has become the center of attention at the global level. It is over and the world is insisting on the solution of this problem. According to Kashmir Media Service, Dr. Fai expressed these views while addressing a dinner given by Kashmiri business leader Shafiq Butt.
He said that Pakistan is the center of hopes and aspirations of Kashmiris and the full support of Pakistani people and government in the struggle for self-determination is a source of courage and strength for Kashmiris. He said that the issue of Pakistan is of utmost importance for Kashmir, Pakistan's full support prevents the issue of Kashmir from being sidelined.
Dr. Faye further said that at this time it is necessary to make the world aware of the serious actions of the Indian government in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Ameer Dr. Mushtaq, Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Altaf Ahmad Butt, Former Federal Secretary Khawaja Siddique, Chairman World Kashmir Freedom Movement Muzamil Ayub Thakur, Sardar Zulfikar, Inam Masoudi, Dr. Waleed Rasool, Mudassar Lone, Yasir Butt, Ishtiaq Qureshi, Atta. Ur Rehman Chauhan, Faisal Jameel and others also participated.
Mohammad Ghalib said that we are standing side by side with our Kashmiri brothers in the struggle to achieve the right of self-determination. Raja Fahim Kayani reiterated his determination of unwavering solidarity with occupied Kashmir and gave them their birthright, the right of self-determination immediately. Altaf Ahmad Butt highlighted the seriousness of the Kashmir conflict and called it a nuclear flashpoint. Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq, pledged to strengthen the freedom movement of Kashmir through political and diplomatic means.
