Karachi (Urdu Point Newspaper Latest - Online. May 12, 2024) Interim Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Munim Zafar Khan has demanded that a judicial commission be established to bring the murderers of May 12 to justice, this is the biggest tragedy of the country. Once again the patrons of murderers have been imposed in Karachi, all institutions of Pakistan should think why the criminals are being imposed.

Jamaat-e-Islami will continue to resist the imposed toll as per Form 47. Sindh Chief Minister and Education Minister should take immediate notice of malpractices in matriculation exams, facilities should be provided to students, action should be taken against copying mafia and K Electric should be bound not to load-shedding during exams, Jamaat-e-Islami said. In order to express solidarity with the people of Gaza and the Palestinian Muslims, "Gaza Solidarity March" has been organized in the whole of Pakistan. In which all the people associated with the minority community will participate.

We demand that K Electric should be taken under national custody and forensic audit should be done, load shedding should be stopped and the increase of Rs 18.86 per unit in fuel adjustment should be rejected. Addressing a press conference on Israeli terrorism, May 12 tragedy, gross maladministration in matriculation exams and other civic issues.

On this occasion, Deputy Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Saifuddin Advocate, Public Ad Committee Jamaat-e-Islami Education Department Chairman Ibnul Hasan Hashmi, K Electric Complaint Cell Chairman Imran Shahid, Information Secretary Zahid Askari, Senior Deputy Information Secretary Sahib Ahmed and others were also present. Zafar Khan said that May 12 is known as a black day in the history of Karachi.

On May 12, 2004, fascism was demonstrated in by-elections in three constituencies, in which 12 people were martyred. Similarly, on May 12, 2007, on the occasion of the reception of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the city was closed and 54 political workers were martyred. He expressed his pride in this dictatorship while waving a mace.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan could not leave the airport. Tragedy on May 12, 2007, with the patronage and facilitation of Pervez Musharraf, MQM destroyed law and order in Karachi and did not allow the Chief Justice of Pakistan to go to the Supreme Court. Today, 17 years have passed since the tragedy on May 12, but till today the killers have not been brought to justice. He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan had announced 5 days ago that we are imposing an educational emergency.

2.6 million children are deprived of education and these statistics are from the government. For the last 50 years, the government has been ruled by Muslim League-N, People's Party and MQM, due to which children are deprived of education. Matriculation board papers are being held in Karachi, in which more than 360,000 children are giving the paper. Government of Sindh, Minister of Education and Chief Minister tell what arrangements they have made for matriculation children.

We are going to the moon in the 21st century, but in the schools of Malir, girls are sitting on the ground and giving papers. As a result of the worst loadshedding of K Electric, there is no electricity in the exam room. Even the basic facilities are not available to the students in the examination room. He said that almost 7 months have passed, the bombing continues in Gaza. More than 35 thousand martyrs have been killed.

Under the auspices of the United States and Great Britain, Palestine is being bombed and the Palestinians are being massacred. On the one hand, America is vetoing the UN resolutions and on the other hand, it is providing arms to Israel. We salute the people of Gaza and Palestine for standing firm. Every person of conscience in Europe stands with the people of Gaza and Palestine. The students of European colleges and universities are protesting for the people of Gaza and Palestinian Muslims.

Muslim countries need to take steps to support Gazan and Palestinian Muslims and teach Israel a lesson. Resolutions and diplomacy will not solve the problem, strong and effective steps need to be taken. He said that K Electric has extended the period of load shedding in extreme heat. Matric exams are going on, there is no electricity in the examination hall.

K Electric did not honor the agreement it entered into at the time of privatization. We reject the recommendation of Rs 18 per unit increase in fuel adjustment. The protection of consumers of Karachi is the main responsibility of Nepra. In the hearing of Nepra, Jamaat-e-Islami fought the case of the people of Karachi. We will continue to raise our voice against the brutal practices of K Electric at every forum.
