Idina Menzel goes 'off-script' to root for Cynthia Erivo at 2024 Tony Awards

Idina Menzel and Cynthia Erivo introduced the honor of best melodic at the 2024 Tony Grants to The Outcasts on June 16, 2024.

The 53-year-old and the 37-year old originally had a concise conversation about their common job as Devilish's the Underhanded Witch of the West (Elphaba) before they gave the honor.

Menzel shared with Erivo, "I'm about to go off-script genuine fast to say that I am so eager to see what I know will be an astounding execution in that film you're doing", and further added, "I simply needed to say green young lady power."

The Let It Go artist found it challenging to acknowledge not depicting Elphaba in the film adaption, but rather sent her affection to Cynthia and Ariana (who is given a role as Glinda) back in 2022 through Broadway.com.

"On the off chance that they requested me to do it at the age from 51, I would agree, sure — just put a little Vaseline on the focal point, toss some green cosmetics on me, utilize a little CGI and I'll look flawless," she said with respect to the chance of being projected.

In any case, fans speculate that both Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth (who recently played Glinda) will have appearances in the transformation that would be out in cinemas on November 27.
