Martyrs who offered their blood and sweat for a holy cause hold a special place in our hearts

Sunday July 7, 2024

Islamabad (Urdu Point News Latest - NNI. 07 July 2024) Former convener of Azad Jammu and Kashmir branch of All-Party Hurriyat Conference and Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Mahmood Ahmed Sagar paid tribute to martyr Burhan Wani and his colleagues. Paying homage to them on their martyrdom, they have said that the great sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will be a torch for future generations.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehmood Ahmad Sagar said in a statement in Islamabad that the martyrs who offered their blood and sweat for a holy cause have a special place in our hearts. He said that thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, the Kashmir dispute has come out of the cold room and has become the center of attention at the global level.

Appreciating the role of Burhan Wani in breathing a new spirit in the resistance movement, he said that Shaheed Burhan not only revived the freedom movement of Kashmir but also strengthened public confidence to achieve the main goal of freedom from Indian occupation.

Reiterating the determination to continue the mission of the martyrs, Mehmood Sagar said that the brave people of Kashmir will not allow anyone to betray these sacrifices. He said that the armed struggle will end when the Indian government abandons its traditional policy of intransigence and is willing to resolve the Kashmir conflict in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

Rejecting the lofty claims of normalization and development in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he said that the Indian government has always used its media as a weapon to mislead the international community about Kashmir. He urged the international community to take notice of the deteriorating situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the time has come for the international community to give up its policy regarding Kashmir and stop looking at Kashmir from the Indian point of view. He said that the Kashmir issue is a political dispute which needs to be resolved peacefully.
